Google Adsense is a program in which websites may place javascript ads upon their site. Each time a vistor clicks upon a Adsense Ad and another site is shown, the webmaster or that website earns a percentage of the ad placement revenue. The adsense Ads are highly targeted toward the keyword density of your website. If your site is about Search Engine Marketing, addtional search engine marketing advertisments will be placed upon your site via the javascript code. Adsense is a fantastic program to earn passive income from your website or sites.

Google Adsense is a sister program to Google Adwords. AdWords is Google’s flagship advertising product, and main source of revenue. AdWords offers pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, and site-targeted advertising for both text and banner ads. The AdWords program includes local, national, and international distribution. Google’s text advertisements are short, consisting of one title line and two content text lines.

Payout of Adsense is genrally 40-50% of the cost of the of the orginal Adwords cost.
